This Advanced Amino Formula review covers what is inside, how it claims to work, how to use it, the price and where to buy it. If it has been taking longer to bounce back after a workout, or muscle tone has started slipping with age, that is a common frustration: age-related muscle loss, known as sarcopenia, is a real and well-documented process. Advanced Amino Formula, from Advanced Bionutritionals, is built around a simple idea: give the body the essential amino acids it needs to keep making muscle protein.

What Is Advanced Amino Formula?
Advanced Amino Formula is a dietary supplement made by Advanced Bionutritionals, built around the 8 essential amino acids, the building blocks of protein the body cannot produce on its own. According to the manufacturer, the formula actually supplies 7 of those aminos directly and intentionally leaves out histidine, since the company states the body already produces enough histidine once the other 7 are supplied.
The stated goal is simple: give the body the raw materials it needs to build new muscle protein, rather than relying only on whatever amino acids come from the last meal.

Advanced Amino Formula Ingredients: What’s Actually Disclosed
The sales page confirms the formula includes 7 of the 8 essential amino acids, intentionally omitting histidine. The manufacturer does not name the other 7 individually or publish an individual dose for any of them; here is what is actually disclosed.
| Ingredient | What it is | What the research says | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7 Essential Amino Acids (unnamed individually)Strongest evidence | Muscle protein building blocks | Essential amino acids as a category are well documented in nutrition research as necessary for muscle protein synthesis, but the exact composition of this formula beyond “7 of the 8” is not confirmed by the manufacturer. | Not disclosed |
| Histidine | Intentionally excluded | The manufacturer’s stated reasoning is that histidine levels naturally rise in the bloodstream once the other 7 essential amino acids are supplied, so the body can produce what it needs on its own. | Not included in this formula |
According to the sales page, Advanced Amino Formula is 100% vegan and does not contain gluten, wheat, corn, nuts, seeds, eggs, soy, dairy, GMOs or preservatives.
Does It Really Work? What the Research Says
The core idea is that muscle protein synthesis, the process the body uses to repair and build muscle tissue, depends on having all the essential amino acids available at the same time. The manufacturer states that by supplying 7 essential amino acids in one formula, the body has the “building blocks to make all the protein it needs,” intended to support muscle maintenance, post-workout recovery and general energy. The sales page does not link to a clinical trial on this exact formulation; the broader science on essential amino acids and muscle protein synthesis is well established in nutrition research, but that is different from a study on this specific product. What to expect, and when
The manufacturer does not publish a specific results timeline for this formula on the sales page.
What This Supplement Is Not
This is not a substitute for dietary protein or for medical evaluation of significant, unexplained muscle loss. The manufacturer’s mechanism claims should be treated as their stated rationale rather than independently verified results for this specific formula.
Is It Safe? Side Effects and Who Should Avoid It
The sales page does not list common side effects for typical users. The one specific warning is for people with PKU (phenylketonuria), a rare genetic disorder, who should only take amino acid supplements under a doctor’s supervision.
As with any supplement, some people may experience mild digestive discomfort when starting. Anyone pregnant, nursing, taking prescription medication, or managing a chronic health condition should consult a doctor before use; the manufacturer has not published data on interactions with specific medications.
How to Take Advanced Amino Formula (Dosage and Directions)
